RE: Caroline Ritter
I'm sure that in her obituary and the obituaries/death records for her children she is listed with the maiden name of Marine. I also believe she had a brother that lived in Winnebago at one time, also named Marine.

It's been some years since I've looked at the original records, but as I recall, that's the way it is.

RE: Kurtz
I checked the online Wildwood Cemetery list and he is not listed, but there are many graves from that time period that are not on that list. I would definitely contact JerryH. who made the other entry which is in the Church cemetery there.
Perhaps the family added a gravestone after the fact to be in the family plot? I am not sure the death certificate from that era would include a
burial site but I would contact the church sexton perhaps can answer your question with records. DR

Wildwood Cemetery is not next to Salem Cemetery there is a Lutheran Cemetery that is next to Wildwood. I personally took the photo and added
Prof. H. Kurtz. DR
