I've been working on and off with my family's history for several years. Since most of my family history is in the Northeast, and I am not, I depend on volunteers in those areas for photos and documentation. I try to return the favor by helping those who need photos in my area of NW Mississippi and SW Tennessee. I visit the West Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery quite frequently and have taken many photos there.|

Thank you so much for the picture. My husband (Mr. Nelson's son) and I live in Missouri. The last time we were there they hadn't yet placed the headstone.

Thank you so much for adding the picture of the monument for my uncle, James Michael Jones.

I just looked at the photos on the actual cemetery page and it is indeed the church I am talking about. I went to that church as a child!
|VIVIAN HOLLIMON||New Mount Zion|
I was wondering if the New Mount Zion cemetery is part of a church that may very well be active in what is actually Clarkedale, AR. Clarkedale is not very far at all from Jericho. The last I remember the church was red brick with steps in the front and on the side of the building. The cemetery is located behind the church.
