Graveyards have always been a comfort to me which is a good thing if I am going to be a volunteer for Find A Grave, right! I also love Halloween, ghost hunting and genealogy. Our past is what makes us who we are so why not embrace it.|
Thank you so much for allowing me to photograph your families graves. This is something I really enjoy doing. I promise I will always do my best to locate your families resting place, or confirm their burials before I leave the cemetery. I also try to take pics of any surrounding possible family members. Ya never know if they are related and it saves me a trip..lol.
Anyway, glad to help.

I've added a photo of Ernest Gallegos's crypt marker to his memorial. I also created a memorial for his wife Marcella and linked them together as spouses.

Thank you for looking and determining that there isn't a marker for Farris Middleton. I appreciate your effort!

Thank you so much for taking the photographs of the Hildebrands memorials! And also for going above and beyond to include other memorials close by. Read your intro, you seem like such a fun person! I love the photos!

Last night I came home around 10:00 p.m. and just happened to check email where I found your posting of the headstone which was amazing itself but also showed the year of death for great grandfather James Nelson.
I did what anyone SHOULD do and went to bed to get a good night's sleep -- NOT -- I actually stayed up until 2:00 a.m. glued to the computer, saying over and over "just five more minutes then I'll quit for the night", researching Salt Lake Tribune articles, and Utah Administrative Services division of archives to better piece together the family story (son-in-law, son, and father died within one year).
WOW - thank you so much for taking the extra time to track down the location!!! I couldn't have put all the pieces together without your help.
With (more) appreciation, Janet

Corinne...my many thanks for the gravestone photo of Edwin Holt Buck Find A Grave 151565 and for the additional caption to the photo letting me know that there were no other Buck's in the area around Edwin's marker!! That helped so much. Hope you are having a beautiful Fall and that winter will bring you many blessings and kind weather!!

Again, let me say I am thrilled to see the headstone for my great uncle J Gordon Nelson. And as soon as I have time I am excited to add the newly discovered photos of Gordon that I found in a "family box" in my mom's attic. Thank you, it means a lot!
However, I can't find the plot number for his father, my great grandfather James Peter Nelson. If you have any suggestions for next steps I'll follow-up, the only thing I can think of is I'll call the cemetery.
With great appreciation,

Corinne; Thank you again for the work you do for Find A Grave. Your helping me and others, fill in pieces of the family history.

Thank you, thank you, thank you!
I am SO excited to track down, then actually see, the headstone of my great-grandmother. And I am touched by your random act of kindness in taking the time to photograph and post this for me (a complete stranger).
You mentioned it appeared to be a family plot area and the two people who are related to Clara and to me are:
James Peter Nelson (born July 1871, who was Clara's husband)
Gordon James Nelson (born March 1917, who was the son of Clara and James killed as a teenager by a drunk driver).
If it is convenient for you to photograph James and Gordon's headstones as well I would be very appreciative.
thank you again, Janet
