Your great grandfather William J Rogers was my 1st cousin 2x removed. His father, James A Rogers was older brother to my great grandfather, George Dryden Rogers (1982-1920). His daughter Hattie (1883-1977) was my grandmother. Debbie J.

RE: Houdyschell photos
Hi Linda. There are three plots side by side. Charles and then there is Andrew and Nora B. I will add Nora's picture.
It is a great feeling when you put the pieces together, so to speak.

You are welcome!

RE: Floyd Alton Baughman
I remember all of them. We use to go over to their house all the time. I'd help Floyd chase down and catch a chicken for dinner. Then after he did the deed, I would help Lois pluck it for dinner. We would spend the night many times. Hide out in Richards room in the basement. I have many many fond memories. My mom and I were both born in Lusk. If you don't mind my asking, what is your age????? I probably meet you over at their house on one of our many many visits while growing up. Do you have more pics of him? Any of Lois and Richard, Sid, or Clyde???? Would love to see them.

Floyd Alton Baughman
Thanks so much for adding the photo of Floyd to his memorial. I love it. Hope you don't mind but I copied it for myself.

Could you tell me how you knew Floyd? Are you related to him? He use to scare me all the time with that stump of an arm by shaking it at me and Lois would always yell at him to stop scaring me. He would only laugh and then give me a big hug.

They were life long friends of my mom...

RE: Freda Fredrickson
Hi Linda,

Are you referring to Freda Fredrickson (memorial #40038021) in Calhoun County, Illinois? Yes, I am related to her through her husband, Carl.

I'm not sure why a picture of her would have ended up in Iowa or Wyoming. I am certain she lived her entire life in Calhoun County.

There are no direct descendants as Carl and Freda's only daughter died in infancy. The baby is buried very close to one of my uncles in a small cemetery in Calhoun County.

I will have to ask my mom if she thinks she would recognize a picture of Freda. Do you have any guess as to the date of the picture?

Please let me know if memorial #40038021 is the right Freda Fredrickson.

You might send me email it is easier than this,
Mmm very interesting the only cemetery by that name I find on findagave is in England.Do you think there is any sign of a return address as to who mailed it from SD on Sept 11 1911? There were AShtons in Western SD from Hot Springs to White Owl and Edgemont and Sioux Falls as well. Mrs Bell you think might be?

Thomas Shockley's headstone photo
Hello, recently you excepted my request for a photo of Thomas Shockley's headstone. It seems that you have added a wonderful photo of Thomas Shockley the man. Do you have a photo of his headstone?
