Bio Photo I became interested in Genealogy in my late 20s. I've done research on my family names, Middleton, Dunn, Stogdill, Schnell. I've also worked on my wife's family name, Zesch.

Isaac and Hannah Newland
Hello again...I see that the older memorials have been updated to the correct cemetery in the New Zion Cemetery. I have deleted the newer memorials as you requested and have added the photos I took to the older memorials.

Isaac and Hannah Newland
Hello...I visited the New Zion Cemetery this spring and came across the headstone of Isaac and Hannah Newland. The New Zion Cemetery is a very small cemetery on private property north of Lancaster close to the Iowa-Missouri state line. It is surrounded by barb wire fence with no gate and currently is overgrown with thorny brush. I first visited the cemetery 20 years ago to photograph the headstone of my 3rd great grandparents John and Elizabeth Enlow. Back then the brush wasn't so bad, but this spring I returned and it was much worse. I would assume that whoever created the other memorials got confused with the similar cemetery names (New Zion-Mount Zion), but their headstones are definitely in the New Zion Cemetery north of Lancaster.

RE: Roy W Dunn

I hope you read my attached notes on the photo. I've asked the LGS to place the notes on the memorial front page, but that may take a day or two.

RE: Frank Allen Dunn Sr. @ Crown Hill
You're right again, Kyle. He appears as Francis in the 1900 census but thereafter he is always Frank. So we must be 2nd cousins or thereabouts. Hello cousin! I have vague memories of Burton and Elma from my early childhood. I think all the siblings of Burton and Frank are buried in the Dunn plot at Crown Hill, along with the parents (Benjamin and Jennie), except Roland who is in another section, and the oldest son Roy (1888-1903). I've never been able to find Roy.

Frank Allen Dunn Sr. @ Crown Hill
It's true. He was given the 1st name Francis at birth. I think this was in the days before they issued birth certificates. He always hated that name and always wanted to be called Frank. So I have to yield to his wishes. He was my maternal grandfather.
