RE: Pottier
Michelle, you needed control of the memorials to do what you ask, so I transferred the entire family over to you. I like to keep families together, so when someone like you ask me about a memorial, I will transfer everyone over to that person. Now that you do have control, there are 2 ways of doing what you ask. On the memorial, you will now see a number of links that were not there before. Click on the "Bio" link. When the page opens, you can either type in the whole obituary or use the "Cut & Paste" method. With the C&P you need to have it already scanned into your computer in a temp file. If you don't have the means to photograph the obituary and store it in your computer, you'll have to type it in. I've done that a number of times. One thing tho, Find-a-grave frowns on anyone uploading an obituary that contains living relatives unless you have permission from them to publish their names. You will have to delete their names once you have the obituary in the Bio section. I know very little of the people I have made memorials for, like the Pottier family, sorry, can't help you there. If you want to add information or photos to the memorials, just use the different "Edit" buttons on the various sections of the memorial. If you have any problems, simply contact me, especially if you want to add a photo. As I always tell the person I transfer someone over to, "Treat them well for they are a part of your family history". Sincerely, Robert Miller
