RE: Eunice Foltz Memorial
Yvonne: I saw the obituary in the paper and created the memorial from that. I do this because I have done genealogy for many years and it is a good way for genealogists to find people they are having trouble finding. I did not know her husband was
Lewis Foltz because there was nothing in the obit mentioning him. Usually the people making up the obituary list those preceding her in death. This one did not so you need to link them together.
To do that you would go to your mothers memorial and click on the "Family link" and under spouse enter your fathers memorial number, in this case it is 86103761. That will link them together so that anyone looking them up knows they were married. You may want to change what I wrote on your mothers memorial and add in that he preceded her in death and you may want to add the year. If she had sisters and brothers who preceded her and a mention of her parents would be good. If you know where her parents are buried see if there is a memorial for them in the cemetery they are buried in and write down the memorial number and you can link them to her. You could do that for your dad also if you can get that one transferred to you. Just go to his memorial and at the top it should say Transfer and just click on that and put in your Find A Grave number so that they will know who to transfer it to. Your Dad's memorial needs updating so you could do that also. Put in as much info as you have as it could be very important in years to come for the people who want to trace the family.
There are many people doing this and it is very easy if you have the obituary. That ususally gives a lot of info on the person. I am not sure about Mr Woody. I tried to get him to transfer some to me and I heard nothing. I Kept asking and finally someone else answered and did finally transfer my requests. He may be ill or could have passed away, so that was nice that someone else took over his memorials. He probably walked the cemetery and took pictures of stones and entered them. He did not have much info on each person so I am guessing. If copying from an obituary you need to enter all information. There are places you can go on Find a grave that have instructions on how to do this but it is just a matter of following what you see and making it as complete as you can. I will now transfer your mother to you. Hope this helps you a little. Elaine

RE: John S Bugbee
Thanks. I sympathize with that and will try to contact the cemetery about the plot location. I suppose Find-A-Grave has generally made all their jobs more busy. Thanks for the phone number. If I can find out anything more, I will let you know or ask it be included on the listing. Mostly, I am just glad you took the time to try. In the future, I will try to read the Cemetery general information section to get a sense of which ones are more or less "photo investigator friendly". Thanks again - Allison

Thanks for the update. I am sorry that the cemetery was not cooperative about providing a plot location, but in any case I do appreciate your efforts in trying. Thanks again - Allison

RE: Fred MURRAY's photo request.
Yvonne, no it's not a trick, I am in the mausoleum a lot taking photos for people. In Fred's case I was able to get the location and take a picture. With a person like Suzie running the main office, its a wonder anyone or anything is ever found, all burial records are in books nothing on computer and she doesn't want anyone spending any time looking for locations unless you're willing to pay for it. So much for "A Not For Profit" business. Good luck with your searches and if I can ever be of help in any of the cemeteries or mausoleum's at the end of the Piedmont avenue area(Chapel of the Chimes, St. Mary's, Chapel of Memories-on Howe St. and Mt. View, let me know. Russell

He was married to a Frances but I don't know when she died. He only had two daughters, Grace Eastman and Pauline Whalen. Thank you for the photo.
