|Hello. Many of the memorials I manage are family, but lately I've been adding memorials that I've found in cemetery indexes online while searching for my relatives. If you are related to anyone who's memorial I manage and would like to take over managing it, just contact me through their suggestions tab and let me know how you're related and an email address. I don't care if you're just a cousin or they are married to a cousin of yours. If I'm not related, I'll happily transfer to you. |
I don't believe in or follow Find-A-Grave's policy on transfers. Family should be with family. Period. I don't add memorials for the "numbers". I add them because I believe they need their recognition and I'm sure someone related to them will someday search for them and will be glad they found them here, and I'm happy to contribute to their search. If I AM related to someone you're researching, then I'm even happier to be contacted by a cousin I never knew I had.

Thanks for info on Alonzo Rigg. How would you like to sign that name. Ha.

Thanks very much for the pics
|Lynn Marie Vint||Halle L. Riley|
I was able to confirm that you were definitely right about the parents of Halle Riley (#100962395).
With your help, I was able to link Halle to her father, and I did find her mother. I sent some additional information (complete name, dates, links to parents and first husband) to the person who created the memorial for Halle's mom, so I hope that memorial is up-dated soon.
Thanks for taking the time to write. I appreciate your help.
Are you related in some way? If so, I'm happy to transfer this one to you. I'm not sure why another person made another memorial for him. I no longer have the original photo to upload to a different page.

The transfer has been made. I don't follow the Find A Grave rule for transfer. I have asked for transfer for my cousin and been refused. All they had on the memorial was dates nothing else. Just please my name on Bio. as his cousin. Thank you.

Thanks for info on their burials. Leave it to the kids. Ha.

Info came from the book "Tombstone Revelations in Macoupin County, Ill". They just read the stone info so not sure where she actually is.
|Kathy G.||Sarah Bates Livingston|
Sarah was my husband's great grandmother. Agnes Livingston and Michael Griffith were his grandparents and Arthur Griffith his father. Which of the family members do you descend from? I would be glad to share any family information that I have. I have been working on both his and my family history for about 45 years.

Thanks for the story. As I'm doing family research on my side, I've come up with some real interesting stories also. I've transferred her to you. Better with family than with a stranger. Good hunting. Debbie J.
