Bio and Links
Bio Photo David William Palmquist of Kinderhook, NY.

On my father William Warren Palmquist's side, descended from my grandfather Amandus Palmquist of Bridgeport and Fairfield, CT, born in Kvarnaryd, Jönköpings, Småland, Sweden 1877 and died 1960. His wife Gertrude Anderson was born in Bridgeport CT 1899, died 1974. Amandus' brother and my great-uncle was Oscar Leander Palmquist (1885-1925) a survivor of the Titanic, buried in Mountain Grove Cemetery, Bridgeport CT, with a marker newly installed by the Titanic International Society.

On my mother Pauline Ann (Aeschliman) Palmquist’s side, am grandson of Dennis Aeschliman, Sr. (1890-1966) and Lydia Keiser (1891-1984) of Wauseon and Bowling Green, OH. Dennis Sr. was descended from Peter Aeschliman, born Switzerland, 1789, died 1855, Fulton County, OH. Peter and his family came to Ohio by way of France, and the family were Mennonites.

RE: Ezra 'Zeke' Aeschliman (1897-1984)
I'm sorry to hear of your mother's death.
The list on Christian and Minnie's Find A Grave sites are links to family graves. The only way links can be added is a child (Dennis)to his parents. Dennis can be added through HTML but if you have access to his Find A Grave site, you can add his parents through that. Then his name will show up on their sites. Does that make sense? It takes a while to learn how this works.

RE: Ezra 'Zeke' Aeschliman (1897-1984)
I grew up in a house about two miles from Zeke and Esther. Grandma (Anna) was probably closest to him for that reason. Someone, I believe it was Albert, had a cottage at the lake and we went there a number of times.
I was born in 1947. Very likely we did meet. When Harold's oldest, Terrie, came to visit, we spent a lot of time together. Sorry you never met Harold. He and my mother we close at one time. I have a picture of Harold, Kathryn, Terrie, my parents and myself.
My mother mentioned that Pauline had died so I checked out She talked of Dennis through the years, so they must have been somewhat close.
Thanks for the correction information.
I would enjoy any information you can give me about the family. We have visited Aeschliman Cemetery several times since starting my family genealogy.
