I was born and raised in Bastrop, Texas and still live in the area. I am currently researching my family history which is here in Bastrop and spans to Illinois as well and who knows where else it may lead. This has been quite an adventure and I have already met so many wonderful people who are willing to help me along the way. I am willing to pay that willingness to help forward if and when I can. I am curious about where I came from but I also want to learn about my family members as a way to honor them. It is exciting and challenging at the same time. A new mystery around every corner!
