Thank you so much for the pictures. I really appreciate your efforts. He was my great grandfather's brother and the last of the siblings for whom I wanted a picture.

I just saw that there were several more pictures that you had taken. Thanks, very much! It's so great to be able to put the pieces of all of the family together.

Emma C Darbyshire Badgley
I've created a new memorial, Trish, for Emma C Darbyshire Badgley (128909675) and also for her husband, and I've linked Emma to her father (Morris).

RE: Emma & Cleo Darbyshire in 1880
OOOPS. I see, Trish, that Cleo and Emeline weren't the same child. Morris and Mary/Polly had one child named Cleo E Darbyshire on 23 Aug 1869 who died unmarried in Harveysburg in 1891. And then they had a different child named Emeline C Darbyshire born 6 Apr 1875. So obviously Cleo and Emeline were two different children. And Emma = Emeline. And they were the same two children who were 10 and 5 in the aunt and uncle's household in 1880.

Hi again, Trish. I finally had a chance to return to your message. I confess that at first I had no idea what memorial you were referencing, but now I have figured it out. I think you were reacting to what I had written on the memorial of Morris Covert Darbyshire 124323024 about not knowing where Cleo and Emma were. (I've since edited that, based on what you told me.) And I now conclude that Emeline C Darbyshire must be Emeline Cleo Darbyshire. I've summed it up as best I can on the 124323024 memorial. Nobody seems to have created a memorial for Mary Ann "Polly" Sumner Darbyshire that we could link to her parents (Joshua and Sarah), which would help make all this more clear. I have books of cemetery inscriptions from Highland Co, OH, and Clinton Co, OH, but none from Warren Co, OH, so I don't know if there is a tombstone for her there. Thanks for your help. Please let me know if you think there is something more we can add or link. - Jay

I'm in the midst of something else at the moment, so I might not get back to the Darbyshires instantly, but I wanted to say _thanks_ and welcome to Find A Grave, where you'll encounter lots of nice people and a few unpleasant ones. The latter are the "Do it may way or ELSE!!!!" types. Just keep reminding yourself that the nice ones outnumber the bullies. I much appreciate your letting me know that you found something I posted to be useful -- we all keep hoping that happens, but sometimes you never know.
