Started working on my history when both my parents died at a young age and I felt alone. This site has helped me a lot. I look forward to learning and finding a lot more about my family history!

Brickey Cemetery
Hello! I am researching my 4x's great grandparents, John Thompson and Winifred Brickey. I see you have a memorial that appears to be hers. I was wondering what information you have that you could share with me. I have a lot of information regarding John Thompson and Winifred Brickey but I am missing her burial information. I know her husband, John Thompson, is buried in the Thompson Cemetery in Roodhouse/Barrow, Illinois. Many of the family members are buried there. We have no headstone for Winifred but I do have her application for a widows pension in Greene County, Illinois. Do you have her death record or any other burial information? I would be happy to give you any information I have.
Thank you!

RE: A Kathrina Wolfmeier
When you get a reply "it can't be found" doesn't mean she isn't buried there. It just means she no longer has a tombstone. Glad this might help you, even if it wasn't very much information.

RE: A Kathrina Wolfmeier
Jennifer - there are 2 generations of the Wolfmeier family in Evergreen Cemetery, Helenville, WI. I don't know who told you she was not buried there but I personally took the photos of the rest of this family (the ones who still have existing tombstones) and I am certain of the cemetery I took these in because I only photograph one cemetery at a time. I inherited her memorial because Henry Gaugert would not comply with requests for family links so the Find A Grave organization transferred some of the memorials to me to manage. There is also a listing of people buried there on the Jefferson County Genweb and her name is included in that listing for Evergreen in Helenville. After recording over a dozen cemeteries and having access to their old ledgers in some cases, the spelling is terrible, the locations of burials were often not recorded (which plot, which section) or, they did not record the first name of the deceased - often listing them as ie: daughter Wolfmeier. If I can help in any way with your search, please let me know. The above is the total knowledge I have of this family.

This cemetery has huge numbers of missing tombstones that are broken off, buried in the ground or unreadable.

RE: Wolfmeier's
They are related to a client of mine. If you have additional information for the memorials, please send it along. I will be more than happy to add the info. I have linked many of the family members. If you have photos, please feel free to upload them to their memorials. Thanks!
