|WilliamsburgGal||RE: Elizabeth Hogge|
If there are memorials that you would like transferred to you, let me know. I have many that are more rightfully placed with you, than me. You are more closely related for sure!
Take Care and Happy Hunting!!
|Ron Stewart||Elizabeth Ann Mason Hansford Hogge|
I am the owner of the duplicate memorial that has now been deleted. I did transfer a photo of her tombstone to WillimsburgGal's memorial before I deleted mine - so, yes a photo does exist and is now on Find A Grave.
Glad family found her memorial.
Yes, there is a headstone for Elizabeth Hogge. Another contributor has attached it to a duplicate memorial. The duplicate isn't his fault, I had her listed as HANSFORD-HOGGE. My interest in her was because of her connection to the Hansford family, not Hogge family. I have corrected her last name and will contact the other contributor to have him remove the duplicate.
For a massive amount of info about the Hansford family, go to Google and do a search for 'descendants of Major John Hansford, York County'. There is a wealth of info on his descendants.
I guess this makes us 'cousins'. Talitha Tyree Mahone Maynard (buried at Camp Peary in York County, was my great-grandmother's sister. Her daughter, Nannie Elizabeth Maynard married Jefferson Hansford (there were two).
Good Luck tracing the Hansfords...this is a massive and interesting family. Are you from the York County area? Anything I can do to help...just let me know.!!
