|Malama||Ramon and Margaret Mercado|
I took a photo of both graves on 5-19-16 at Mililani Memorial. I see someone else has already uploaded a photo for Ramon Mercado. I am sorry it's taken me this long but I'm glad someone else was able to help you. When I went to their graves, someone had placed fresh flowers for both Mr and Mrs Mercado.

the granite was polished very smooth and the lettering was crisp, not much weathering. the lichens were growing all over it but didnt seem to be doing any harm, i scrtched at them a little and they didnt budge so i didnt scratch any harder. there appeared to be a porcelain portrait on it at one time but now gone :(

no problem. i caught a ride into town and had to wait for my moms appointment to finish so i checked my finddagrave app on my phone for any nearby photo requests and there was one not far from me in Kahili so mom dropped me off and i wondered the smallish cemetery for an hour starting with looking for Ilaes grave and then going on to any other unphotographed graves there. it is located on the corner of Kamanaiki and Violet streets in Kahili valley maybe half way up, i dont know how much further the valley goes. on findagrave it is called Kaiulani Portugese Cemetery but when i got there i had been saying it doesnt lok like the place the heir apprent would have been buried and i looked it up later and she is buried in the royal mausoleum, maybe she was orginallyburied in Kahili and later moved to the mausoleum i dont know but i think it is also just called the Kamanaiki + Violet streets Cemetery.

|Malama||Mr Mercado's grave|
Hi Ramona, I searched for Ramon Mercado's grave two days in a row, not able to find it. I may try again when I can re-visit Mililani Memorial - perhaps I wrote the directions to his grave wrong.
