RE: Grave Marked Crough
She is listed in the book as a lost grave. She was assigned the number 485 in block 12. In the latest record book the numbers of marked burials in block 12 jump from 482 to 487. She likely never had a permanent marker and over time the temporary marker placed there by the funeral home has been lost. If you are close to the cemetery I can meet you there and show you the area where that number would be and locate the burials there with my grave locator.

RE: Alberta
Uncle Alphord Morgan was my mother's half brother. I too loved visiting Uncle Alphord and Aunt Bert in Dallas as a child. We lived in Arizona at the time and would overnight with them on our way to and from Mississippi to visit relatives every couple of years.
My husband and I retired to McKinney, TX about 4 year ago and I started working on the family genealogy. I had lots of notes to sort through from Mom's and Dad's sides of the family. I remembered going to Fannie Fern's grave and so looked up her death certificate and went to the cemetery to take pictures and wrote the memorials because there were no descendants of theirs to do it and I did enjoy them so much. I have not found a marriage certificate for them in any of my online research, so just put in the date Mom had written down. She may not have noted it correctly, so I would love to have a copy of the accurate source.

Are you on Ancestry.com per chance? That's where I've done most of my research.
