I am from Scott County, VA. I've been a genealogy enthusiast for about 12 years, but didn't have much time for it until now, recently disabled due to autoimmune diseases. I also enjoy photography. I am also married to a nurse, and we have 4 grown kids, 2 boys and 2 girls. I have 4 granddaughters and a grandson. I enjoy Hebraic Bible study, and visited Israel once so far. I am especially interested in genealogy because my life was severely and negatively affected by not knowing my real father until in my 30's, and he died shortly thereafter. I'm always really excited to find new links - it's like opening a gift that turns out to be a treasure, just putting a name or esp a picture to it, gives life.
