I also added a photo for Winnifred.
Do you have Henry and Emma's Marriage record? I found it in Canada.
|Alice Morton||Hi Karen|
I was glad to meet you today. Did you know that Glen was in the 1st World War out of Canada. Need to get him a flag
Francis B. Dupuy was on the 1930 census. She was born in Oregon in 1926. She is not listed with the family in the 1940 census so apparently she passed away between 1930 and 1940. I checked the Oregon Death Index but did not find her so that is a mystery. In age she was between Adele and Hazel.
My e-mail address is email@example.com. We can chat through e-mail as I find stuff.
10:30 is fine. I am short thin and have white hair.
I will be happy to meet you. I love to meet relatives of the folks buried at Laurel Grove. We allow most anything except glass vases. I have a relative buried up there and put angels on her grave during the non mowing season. Lots of people come up and put artificial flowers on the graves.It is always best not to just before the third sat. of the month as they get in our mowers way.
See ya at 10:30ish. I will try and be by the gate.
|Alice Morton||hi Karen|
After thinking about what I wrote you about the time. It would probably be better if we had a time frame as I will be up there
At different times during the day. I have some errands I need to take care of. So let me know what time frame works for you and I will be there.
I will be there from about 9 to 11 depending on the rain....just ask for Alice. You won't have any
problems finding it after we figure it out. We can mark it with a Jerry's flag or something.
Yes, we actually did mowing, weed eating etc. this week end. Some of us will be up there tomorrow to put flags on the veterans graves. Also a new sign is to be erected tomorrow.
We have clean up day the third Sat. of every month except during the winter.
I live in Springfield so I can come up most any time and show you where he is. It would be hard to tell you as no one around him in the same row has stones but right in from of him should be the
Johns family and Richard Meakins.
If you go in the gate take a left down the road by the sign. As the road curves to the right on the left hand side you should see the stones for the
Edwards family. Walk straight down from them about
3 or 4 rows and that is where Glen Dupuy should be.
As I said just let me know when you can be up there and we can arrange to meet. OK
Yes I know my way around Laurel Grove Cemetery. I am on the Board of Directors and I am the Historian/genealogist for the cemetery. Who are you trying to locate? I will tell you where they are and how to get there. I will even come unlock the gate for you.
|Alice Morton||Hello Karen|
You claimed the photo for the grave of Pearl McDonald at Laurel Grove Cemetery. Pearl does not have a marker. She is buried in block 2 Lot 9 south.
It states on her findagrave page that she has no marker. Sorry you walked all over looking for her.
