My grandparents, Russell and Mary Hill, lived on Yellow Creek in Dickson Co. TN.I spent many years there and knew several people who they grew up with that I wish I had talk to about their lives. Billy Nesbitt was one person who I talked a lot with and who shared my interest in the history of Yellow Creek.|

Yes! That's right. Joe H and Emeline were my husbands 2 great grandparents. They are the ones buried in the Ladd cemetery. They had a son named Isaac Newton whose son Joseph H was my husbands grandfather. :))

Hello Joyce! Thank you so much for telling me how to get to the Ladd Cemetery. Since I posted this question to you, I have found my husband's grandfather Joseph H Ladd in Williamson Memorial Gardens. Joseph's father, Isaac Newton, and his grandfather, also Joseph H, are both buried in the Ladd Cemetery. So, now that I know where it is, or at least think I can find it, I will go visit it! Thanks again for being so helpful.

Good Question, I'll contact the person who submitted the photo and ask that they delete it.
Why is the Confederate marker for John S Albright instead of John Allen Albright?

I have a question for you. I see that you have taken a few Ladd photos from the Ladd cemetery on N Chapel Rd. Were there other gravestones there? Also, where exactly is the cemetery and how do you get there? There are two Ladd cemeteries in the same area on findagrave and I think my husband's grandfather is in one of them. However, I am not familiar with the area and I don't know if there should be only one or if there really are two, and if there are two, which one he might be in. Any light you can shed on the subject will be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
