For Get Me Not
Pete Nelson
Forest or Bobbi, I do not believe Pete was Kid Curry or Logan. I have several books on the Butch Cassidy Sagas and outlaws of Utah. I have found no evidence relating to the above. Pete was married to Beatrice Young, their three children were, Desmond, Glen, and Lavird. They divorced, Beatrice married Peter Christian Christensen (Lee) and had a family with him, they lived in Alberta, Canada. Glen became "Lee Sage" an author, I have several articles on him. Desmond lived in the Vernal area. I have a book with pictures of Pete, unfortunately they don't copy well. The book The Last Rustler written by Lee Sage has quite a lot of info on Glen and his family. Another book was Gopher Dick. I haven't been able to locate the other ones. He also wrote a lot of articles for the Western Horseman.

If Pete is your ggg grandfather I guess that makes us cousins.

I am working on an article on Pete, still researching info on he and Ada.

Keep in touch, dixie

Hi, Bobbie,
I used to come here and pick and choose cemeteries and names at random and that's what I did with Peter Lars 'Logan' Nelson.

I don't have any info on him at all. You might want to check with the person who listed his grave site or check the Frequently Asked Questions at this site. They might be able to answer some questions for you or give you ideas of where to search for more info.

Take Care and have a Good Weekend,

Mary

Bobbi, I'm not sure where "Logan" came from other than his family lived in Logan shortly after arriving in Utah. There were so many people with the same name during the immigration that they took additional names to help identify themselves.
Pete is my Grandmothers brother. If you have info on Pete and his family I would love to hear more from you. Dixie
