I am searching for my family history, looking for their stories, so the next generation will know their beginnings.|

Please use: on find a grave you can only connect family up not down.

Processing edit requests as fast as I can. Would also suggest that you do a photo request for the memorial, as there are a ton of photo volunteers for this location. (I do computer stuff, they walk the site...).

Thank you for posting a headstone picture to his memorial. Very Much Appreciated
|Alice Morton||Hello again|
You are so right. It is sad when there is no marking. Times were tough back then and we have
many in the cemetery with no headstones. Sometimes
the family just couldn't afford it or figured they
would get it eventually and things just happen. I have done genealogy for 40 years and have numerous relatives that have no stone or it has been lost to the ages. If we knew where she was buried we could take a picture of the grave site but as I mentioned before we have no record of her even being in the cemetery.
Do you know where Benjamin is buried?
At some point in the next few weeks I am going to Salem to the Archives to get some death certificates. I can get hers and see if it does state that she is at Laurel Grove
|Alice Morton||Hello Deborah|
You requested a picture of the gravestone of Mary
Barta Mellott. The cemetery has no record of her being buried there but either the death certificate or obituary states that she is there. Her whereabouts are unknown.
