The other side of her headstone is her husband's information. Most couples have single headstones with the husband on the "front" and the wife on the reverse.

Did you need a different shot of her headstone? I posted hers yesterday when I added Verbon's.

Take good care of her memorial. She was one of my favorites.
You're welcome. Glad to help.

|george franklin||RE: James Bruton|
I'm still trying to find where his dad George Bruton(1762-1834 or 1840) is buried. He was born in South Carolina and died in Wayne County, Ky. The best I can find is he buried on his property there. A lot of relatives of that period did not have grave markers.
George fought in the American Revolution. I belong to the Sons of the American Revolution the male equivalent of the Daughters of the American Revolution.
I may look through my Bruton stuff and email you a couple of things if you will trust me with an email address.
Are you originally from Canada? My wife and I are from Louisville, Ky. I was a cop and homicide detective and then joined the U.S.Secret Service in 74 and retired here in LA in 1995 and then did a corporate job for 14 years.
More or less retired but I still work for the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children and go to Cambodia each year for this foundation against sexual slavery.

I wrote this "Aleta" today and asked her to correct spelling.
James is buried next to his son Lt. Sandusky Bruton and his wife Mary. Next to them are my grandparents Ed Franklin and Alice Bruton Franklin, only child of Sandusky.
My parents are also there and many sets of g-grandparents. This is a beautiful graveyard on a hillside. I go every year and will be there May 13th.
BTW- James "Jake" Bruton was the Postmaster in 1874 in a nearby town of Burkesville.
