Bio and Links
Bio Photo I'm James from Wichita Falls. My great-great grandad, Benjamin Duncan Wingo (Ala) migrated with his father, Rev W.S. Wingo (SC) and mother to Red River County Texas around 1866 to farm, winding up in the panhandle, where my relatives are from. My aunt Mary (Wingo) Anderson has been researching since I can remember, and now I have the bug. Retired from USAF here in Wichita Falls, I enjoy visiting area cemeteries - and am happy to contribute any way I can. Also, please use any photos as you need.

Thanks for the update. When I created the memorial there was not much detail. I recopied the entire obituary and replace it (with his picture also).

Thanks again for letting me know!

Calhoun cemetery stone

Hi J Wingo. I just wanted to thank you for the Calhoun stone picture. it is a very good Picture, I could easily read every word. I truly thank you.
Esker is not actually related to me, but he was married to my mother's sister back in 1933. and they had a daughter born in 1935. ( my age). my mother lost contact with her sister in 1945.she wanted to find her, and I tried for so long to find her before my mother passed, (1999). but it is like she just fell of the earth. I realize she (my Aunt)has passed by now, but I'm still looking, I just want to find where she is. I would like to visit her grave. I thought Esker's stone might have some information on it that might be helpful. like another person that shared his stone.don't know if it will help, but I do appreciate the picture, thank you again, Patsy Frazier.

Thanks for deleting your photos on Kathleen Prince's memorial. I have already added the photos I took. Also the memorial has been transferred to me as well.

Hello Mr Wingo, I just noticed that you have added photos of my wife's grandmother (Kathleen Prince) to her Findagrave Memorial. We just placed the new headstone a few months ago and I was getting ready to add photos of the headstone when I found yours already posted. I would like to have the photos I took on her memorial instead of yours. I am also trying to get her memorial transferred to me as well. Thanks for any assistance you can offer.

RE: Moraine Gore - FAGM #59819498
You can use my primary email if you'd like. It is: That way we can keep the chatter off the public view. This is an "Allied Family" that I'm working through. I can see a number of memorial's missing pics of gravestones, so I'm sure that I can reach out a number of times.

Didn't know that about the terms of endearment. Thanks

James - Do you prefer wingnut or zoomie?

The picture you took of Moraine Gore's gravestone was fantastic. Thank you so very much.

Thanks for kindly taking the photos of his headstone and posting them for me. The photos confirm and verify that the birth date found in his obituary was indeed incorrect.
