RE: Hugh Danley
Hi Ashley,
Did you ever get a chance to get back to Mt. Zion Cemetery to Hugh Danley's grave? Would it be too overgrown now, do you think? I'll be in the area in a couple of weeks. Maybe I'll get a chance to go there.

Thank you,
Taunnya

I've never been to that cemetery. I hope to visit it if I'm in the area. Thank you for your time and effort!

Mt. Zion
Do you know there are some books at the Ohio co. Library on some of the cemeteries?

RE: Mt. Zion
Yes, I there are a lot of stones over turned & some are buried. I carry a small brush to clean the grass off the stones and a small shovel to dig out some of the stones so you can see the dates on them. I haven't been able to find the rest of the requests at Mt. Zion, but maybe you can.

RE: Riverview
Yes, when see the requests that are older ones most of the time no one has been able to find them. It could be that there isn't a stone for them. I don't know if that is the case for Riverview maybe no one has looked for them. Now for Mt. Zion those older requests I have never found them and I have been looking for them several years, but I know some of them may be up in all those weeds & briars. Some times they are moved to another cemetery. You can go to any of the cemeteries and look for requests. I usually don't claim them until I find them, unless I know for sure where they are at. I go to Greenwood, Mt. Wood, Pennisula & Mt. Zion in Ohio County. I go to Greenlawn, Mt. Rose, Limestone, and a few other ones in Marshall County. Let me know if you need to know anything about some of the other cemeteries. Carla :)

RE: Riverview
Thanks, Ashley I just like to go to different cemeteries and look around and take photos. You should go there to Riverview and look for those requests since you know the cemetery. Thanks for the directions I think I was on the wrong road that day I went. Carla :)

RE: Hugh Danley
That would be great! It's probably a good time to look before everything really pops out with leaf growth. Thank you!

RE: Mt Zion
Thanks, I turned on to a road down there but thought it may not be the right way so I turned around and came back. There are a lot of requests for that cemetery, I just thought I would look around for some. Do they have the section marked? Carla :)

RE: Mt Zion
Yes, it is a tricky Cemetery. Yes, I too think it is awful to see those graves in all those weeds, but I have seen worse ones than that one. I saw you did a few photos for the Riverview Cem. in Moundsville. I tried to find that cemetery Sat. but couldn't find the road to turn on to get to it. Is it down by the police station? Carla:)
