My interest in geneology goes back several years. My wife Lorna Vigesaa Olson and I have both done family books and we continue to have an interest in family. Lorna's maternal grandparents were Paul and Sophie Overby from Binford, ND. My Olson grandparents were born in Norway and came to the U.S. as children. They homesteaded in North Dakota in 1882 near what is now Litchville, ND. My maternal grandparents were movers! They were born in Illinois in the 1860's and ended up in North Dakota in the early 1900's. I have spent some time in the past while trying to update family information on those of our extended families.
We also have extensive scrap books of family and friends and plan to add as much as we are able to the sites that we locate of our family and friends.
I will be happy to transfer any memorials except for my family to other family members.

Yes, yrs ago my hubby and I went to Hope ND and went to the "church cemetery" but didn't make it to the "old one" a little north of there. We are going to try this spring/summer. The info that i originally posted was from books and LDS websites, then I made a friend in Norway via internet and he helped me out. I'll have to take a hard look at the hard copies that I have.

Could be, I'll have to get back to my hard copy records from Norway though. Back when I started all this genealogy stuff, I didn't have the complete records until I made contact with someone in Norway who found the actual record for me.
Thanks for pointing this out to me.

Aggie's mother
Aggie's mother was Nicoline, as sister to our Anna Olson (Mads' wife) I remember in the 1900 census record where she is libing with John & Oline she was listed as a cousin.
