Thanks for your note correcting the marriage date. I left the original bit of info as it was printed in the Cloud County Cemetery Book, but I added a note with the correction, which matches the gravestone.

Hi Suzann,

Thanks so much for the picture of John P. Wales' grave at Hillcrest Cemetery in Florence! He was the founder of the town of Walesboro, near Columbus, Indiana, Bartholomew County, and I'm trying to get more information on him. Do you know if Hillcrest Cemetery has an office and keeps burial records? I'd like to get an exact date of death or date of burial so I can pursue an obituary for him. Thanks again!
