RE: Ransom Stevens Oak Hill
No excuse about slow -- weather seems to take priority when it comes to spring and summer weather! Spring comes when it decides it wants to and summer ends when the leaves start to fall and the first snow hits the ground and sticks. Being here in California, unless you live in the mountains where the snow hits and sticks, we can go about our business year around. Rain or shine we can get to most cemeteries, though when it is raining it is not so hot, but the job can get done through the drops when it disapates to a drizzle. As for old age -- I'm starting to feel it too -- but the docs all say movement is the key to keeping going.

Anyway, hope you can get out to Oak Hill soon and locate Ransom's marker. If there is a monument that goes with the small stones, please take those and post. An overview of monument and stones is also a good idea as well. Puts things in perspective. If there are several stones near a monument marker, if you could ID them when you post by using the add comment block by saying, i.e., L-R x, y, z name. That way the names are there in order they stand in the cemetery. Sometimes you also need to take a closeup of a stone and you might have to take it in parts. Like one for birth date, one for death date, one for overview, one if there is a photo attached that you can add as a person to the memorial. Five photos can be added to every memorial before one must pay to "sponsor" it to add more. So the key is to do the best you can with what's there. In the case of Ransom's memorial, you've posted 3 photos, but none of them are his specifically. When you find his monument and stone you may need to delete and repost to the memorials for each of the names and post the monument photo with each.

Anyway, look forward to repost when you can get out to the cemetery. Could you drop me a line when you post the new photos so that I know it's taken care of? Thanks in advance for your help.

Ransom Stevens Oak Hill
Thanks for posting the photos of his parents and his wife. I'm curious as to why you didn't photo his gravemarker? Was there a family monument for this family? If there was, I would like the photo posted and those of his parents and his wife also posted on their memorials. Again thanks for the photos.

Porter A Hitchcock
Tricia, You have added two stone photos to Memorial# 115594067 (Porter Ackley Hitchcock). One stone for Agnes Hitchcock and the other her husband Porter Ackley Hitchcock. These two stones are for the grandparents of Memorial# 115594067 and those two memorials already have the stones added to them. So I think it would be a good idea to remove them from Memorial# 115594067 (the younger Porter).

What this means is that I still need a photo for Memorial# 115594067.

Confusing? A bit.

Thank you.
