RE: Ida Dickson 127592906
Carol,
Yes I have the newspaper copies for Malinda and Ida. Did research for Jenky but was unable to find one...which surprised me! I had asked a lady at the Chula Vista library to look and if I remember I think the correct dates were missing on microfilm. You could phone the CV library or see if any Calif library has the newspaper for correct dates.
If you will e-mail me your address I will mail you copies or could scan and send you pdf copies. my e-mail is: mcclaryadc@hotmail.com. Please put Jenkins in the subject line.

William G. Jenkins Boise 59588087
Carol,
The son of Ida, William G. Jenkins, is buried in Boise #59588087. There is a very nice biography of him....which is somewhat totally wrong! Of course, it is because of the name confusion when he took his step-grandfather's name, William Jenkins, instead of Castleton. So the bio lists him as a son of Jenky and Malinda. I think the only way to get this straightened out is if you can get his memorial transferred to you. Looks like the person managing it now adhears to the strict rules of Find A Grave and you must show you are a direct descendant...which you can do. Then you could post a note about his taking his "grandfather's" name and link him to his correct mother, Ida. I have found his 3 sons and have requested they be linked to William and Cora Jenkins.

Ida Dickson 127592906
Carol,
The following obit for Ida was in the Chula Vista newspaper July 9, 1943
Mrs. ida May dickson died suddenly at her home 313 H street last Thrusday afternoon. Mrs. Dickson had been working in her yard when taken ill and she passed away a short time later. The deceased is survived by one son, W. G. Jenkins of Boise, Idaho. She was born in Frazierburg, Indiana 73 years ago and had resided in Chula Vista for the past 30 years. Private funeral service and cremation were conducted from the Hubbard Mortuary in Chula Vista Tuesday.

I think her remains were probably placed with Malinda and Jenky in Greenwood Memorial Cemetery in Chula Vista.

Hope this is helpful.

Malinda Jenkins memorial fixed
Thanks - I will have to review my notes to see who misidentified your great grandmother. Could you please email me offline at veteran.graver@gmail.com. My first cousins are descended from Malinda's oldest son, Williamson Page. Regards, Margie
