Weeks or months away will be fine, whenever you have time.

I am thrilled that you are an admirer of my "Papaw" and figured out you are related to him also. Let me know when you might be available to meet for a discussion of our family history. I know you have a lot going on with college life etc. I am retired so my schedule is more open.

We live at the west end of Battlefield Road, near West Bypass and James River Freeway. If that is convenient for you, we could meet here. I'm always happy to share what I have learned with others.

Hi Matt, We are related on both the Wilson and Bell sides of our family. John Wallace Bell is a brother of Valerie's gr-gr-great grandmother Mary Ann Bell Wilson. Mary Ann's husband Solomon Hayes Wilson is a first cousin of Malinda Wilson.

My Jones family are the ones who founded and settled around Antioch Church near Everton. My line going back from my grandmother Verna Jones Morris is to James Milton Jones, James F Jones, George Jones.

James F Jones married his first cousin Artimsy Ann Jones, her father is William J Jones, brother of George.

I grew up in Springfield, but my dad's side of the family is from Dade County. I believe it is true that those who grew up in that area are all related in some way! My husband's Jones family is from Illinois - no relation to my Jones family that I know of.

I have a picture I copied off for you of an elderly John Wallace Bell and family. I also wondered if you have the book on Silas Bell by Geraldine Buland. If you are interested, I would be happy to meet with you and exchange information whenever you have time.
