Bio and Links
Bio Photo I am a retired accountant currently working on my family genealogy. I enjoy making connections between memorials and am grateful for the the help I have received from fellow FG members.

I am happy to transfer memorials of people not related to me. Please use the FindAGrave "Edit" tab and then choose the "Suggest any other correction or addition". Include your FindAGrave member number, and the name and memorial number of the person you want transferred. If we are both related I am happy to discuss.

Please feel free to use any photos, documents, or information I have included in any memorial - for non-profit reasons. For profit use; please contact me.

If something happens to me and I am unable to maintain my memorials, FindAGrave administrators have my permission to transfer all my memorials to my son, Craig, FindAGrave member ID #48398521.

RE: John MacDonald Smith FG Memorial #21065984
You would not have recognized my last name as it is my Great grandmother's tree I am working on. Her name was Ora Ellen Smith dau of George Madison (Mack) Smith, who was the son of William Robert (Colonel)Smith, son of Jonathan Smith who was son of JOhn William Smith who I believe was the son of James "Stillwater" Smith (I know his father was James Smith, b:1686 and that he was from Ireland) after that I'm not sure but I believe his father was John Smith - which is who I am wondering if it might not be the findagrave referenced above.

does this sound like the same family tree if a different branch?

Julia Lord Crain Stiles
I've added the birth and death dates to the memorial for her.. When and if more information comes to light, the memorial can always be edited.

Thank you for the information on Julia Stiles. I have added Mr Crain as her 1st spouse and will add information about the 2nd husband when/if information is found or sent to me. Would you happen to know her birth/death years? There was nothing on the grave marker that gave any indication.

Hi Mary,

Do you mind if I use some of your biographical information that you posted on Find-A-Grave. Primarily on the Roby's.

I know the frustration you feel. It has also happened to me many times. The Illinois site I sent you is free to access. It's not great but it has come in handy for me.

Hi Mary,

Thanks for the information. I don't know what to think of McFeston either. I shall pursue that. I love a mystery. Thanks for the Arizona genealogy web site. That may come in handy. If you know of others like that, please send them my way. Thanks.

Below is a useful site for the state of Illinois.
