|Emma Simmons||RE: Zoeth Howland|
Henry Howland is my 8 Great Grandfather. What I know through my research is Zoeth left a Quaker
meeting the night of January 21, 1676 and started home on the way there he was attacked by a group of Native Americans that were annoyed with him because he ran a ferry in the area and were tired of the amount of Europeans flooding into the area. His body was found the following morning in a creek in the area where the attackers had thrown him. I am sorry if this seems to frank. Considering "our" family I feel it is quite important to get the facts correct.
|Debi Burgess||Lydia Spooner|
I noticed on the memorial for Lydia Spooner you put that she is your 5th great grandmother. I am confused about who her husband was. On some ancestry trees she is listed married to joshua Russell and on others she is listed as married to Josiah Streeter. Who was she married to? My aunt's dna test matched someone's kit that listed Lydia born in 1710 but also as the daughter of Amaziah Spooner who was born in 1726. Which is impossible! Thanks for any help you can give me.
|Paul Manly||RE: Harold Elmer Roddel|
We obtained the information from Harold from Ball & Dodd Funeral Home recently. He was not in our original cemetery listings.
All we know is: d. 15 Feb 1936, b. abt 1897, "froze to death"
There is no stone or marker of any kind. However, we can approximate a probable location if you family is interested in placing a stone.
We are also in the process of replacing missing, unreadable, and damaged markers and have a working relationship with a local monument company to produce these for about $60 each, in lots of 40 or 50 at a time. So far we have put 90 of these into the cemetery - they are 6 x 12 granite with a 3" concrete surround.
I show the spelling as Roddle - including several census records. However, if you're certain of the Roddel, I can change it.
If you or a relative is coming to Spokane, I'd be glad to meet you at the cemetery. Call me at 509-979-1627 before you come.
If I can help in any other way, please let me know. Paul Manly, Sexton, Evergreen Cemetery
|Amanda Pierce||Robert Abraham|
Saw your note on Robert Abraham's memorial page. He is my 11th great-grandfather, and your note said he's your 10th great-grandfather...so we are related, distant cousins.

Thank you! If you wish to upload your picture, you are more than welcome. You can go to the memorial and below the pictures is a button to add the picture. The memorial isn't mine, I just took pictures to make them available to others. You can also suggest other information by going to the top of his memorial and using the "edit" tab on the right.

I have added the cemetery information to the graves of Grace, Harriet and Walter Vreeland. Hope the information will help you.
|Scott Jensen||more questions|
I was so excited to hear from you and the information you provided, that led me to finding Nelson Carver's memorial on find-a-grave. Do you know if his wife Elizabeth Wilson Carver was buried in the same cemetery? Also, do you have a family tree on www.ancestry.com? Could I know the name, of your tree if you do? That's enough questions for now. If you have more time for questions, I have a lot of them :) Would if be better to communicate through e-mail? Mine is email@example.com
Feel free to contact me or call me at 231-834-9805. I would love to continue sharing information with you, if you're interested. My interest and connection is through Elizabeth Wilson's family whose brother Harvey Wilson settled in Michigan and is an ancestor of my wife Valerie.
Hope to hear back from you,
|Scott Jensen||Carver / Perry family|
Thanks for encouraging me to link the Perry children to the parents Abner and Mary Carver. You mentioned knowing where Mary's parents are buried. Could you send me more information about these graves sites?
