RE: holcombe
Hello Rose, we are cousins. My grandfather was Wayne Nathaniel, Thurman's brother.

Elizabeth Holcombe Hemphill
Hi, Rose. I'm afraid that I was not the one who created the site for John and Lydia Holcombe. I did have their daughter, Elizabeth, as having married a cousin of mine, but now I do not remember where I got that information. My personal notes say her last name was Howell or Holcombe. (I didn't know her as my cousin died when I was very young.) I remember finding that her parents were John and Lydia, but I did not note where I found it and I may be wrong.

Questions
Hello, I am responding to a note you left on my page, but I am a bit confused. I don't think I saw anyone's full name mentioned (just Elizabeth) and I need a bit more to go on to be able to answer your question. My mother's name is not Elizabeth, however, so I'm sure there is a misunderstanding somewhere. Let's see if we can get to the bottom of this. Looking forward to hearing from you with more details. Thanks, Donna

RE: Wendall Holcombe
Hi Rose,

Last June "Chele4d" requested photos for Wendell, Dock, & Valeria Holcombe.

There are many Holcombes in Madison County and three cemeteries in Find a Grave with the Holcombe name.

Good luck connecting with your relatives - both past and present.

Lori

RE: relatives?
My grandmother was a Holcombe.
You mention Lydia Holcombe. Who was Lydia married too? and what was her maiden name. I have so many names, that I need a little more information of what cemetery you are speaking of, and full name.
Thanks, good to hear from you. More than likely we are distant kin.
Blessings,
Lorraine

It is what the site is all about. Honoring those who have passed.

Just part of the cemetery I was working on. The photos were requested.
