Mary,
My husband's grandfather George Butcher Ashford was a first cousin to your grandmother Anna. I have located marriage recods for Anna Trueax and Cloyce Jolly dated May 16, 1937. Also a death certificate for a child named Sylvia Lea Jolly whose parents were Clois Jolly and Anna Trueax.

However, Luella Jolly (whom I believe to be Luella Trueax) is buried with Cloyce E. Jolly at the Roseburg IOOF Cemetery #12914190. Was your grandmother Anna and her sister Luella both married to Cloyce Jolly?

Thanks so much for any clarification you can give me on this question. bwa.texasgal@gmail.com

Mary,
I haven't received an email from you (with or without photos). I can't find an email address for you either. (Did I ever have one? We've been corresponding via find-a-grave and ancestry.) Please double-check that you have the correct email address for me: esbjstutz@aol.com (I did check my spam folder, and there is nothing there from you, so I know it didn't just go to spam.)
Thanks for giving this a try - sorry it's giving you some trouble. Most of the time if I email photos, I only send 2-3 at a time, and I try to make sure the file size for each individual photo isn't too big. If they are big files and you cannot re-size them smaller, try sending just one at a time.
Thanks,
Sue

RE: Sarah Cory Scudder
Your inquiry:
If you look at Sarah's information she could not be John's daughter.

Could she be ELNATHAN CORY & SARAH SIMPSON's daughter instead?

My comments:
What about Sarah (Cory) Scudder's information indicates that she was not the daughter of John Cory and Martha Parkhurst? From what I have seen they were her parents.

As to Elnathan and Sarah Cory, one of his daughters as named in Elnathan's will was Sarah Johnson. He mentioned a granddaughter Sarah Cory.

Regards,
Jay

RE: Bessie Webb
Please note that the marriage notice is published on the front page in the Spirit Lake Beacon, March 2, 1916. You stated they married in 1915.

Kind regards,
