|Joyce Bedenbaugh||Peter Plemmons|
I am a granddaughter of the generations of Peter Plemmons. I have a family tree on Ancestry.com:
Joyce Pearson family tree if you want to look at it.
My great grandmother was Juliet Melinda PLemmons. She was the only child of Joseph J. Plemmons and Martha Jones.
My 2nd great grandfather was Joseph J. Plemmons 1836-1863 who fought in the Battle of Chickamauga was wounded in the leg and died from gangrene in the Civil War hospital in Atlanta (the record is published in the Civil War record books.) His father was Peter Plemmons 1804-1851. And 2 previous generations of Peter Plemmons also.
If you are on Ancestry.com. please let me know what your family tree is so we can share info.
Thanks and take care! Joyce Pearson Bedenbaugh

I'd say we are probably related some way.
To tell you the truth, I've never been to that cemetery but I looked it up on Google, I actually looked the church up, here is the link: https://maps.google.com/maps?expflags=enable_star_based_justifications:true&ie=UTF8&cid=7863089174470564146&q=Newfound+Baptist+Church&iwloc=A&gl=US&hl=en-US
Now, all you have to do is put your address in and it will tell you how to get there.
I live in Michigan, I've been to North Carolina a number of times, my parents are from there. My Dad was actually born in Norton, Virginia but was raised in Hot Springs, North Carolina - My Mom was born and raised in Asheville.
Good luck on getting to the cemetery - I would love to come down there and visit the cemeteries were I have family.
If I can be of help, let me know.
Have a good week,

Sorry, no relation. I just photographed the cemetery.
