RE: Smiths in Floyd Co!
Hi Texas, in response to your question about Edna Alice Smith Aliff, I probably ran across the obituary, as I am working extensively on indexing both Roanoke Times, Fincastle Herald and Floyd Press obituaries, and entered her from that. (Her obituary was in the Fincastle Herald). Interesting that she is from Floyd County. Upon looking, I don't have her in my direct line. The only William B Smith I have was born 1834 and was son of James Smith and Elizabeth Lugar. My direct line of Smith are on my paternal grandmother's side. (Casper Smith and Catherine Slusher descendents) I am a Weddle (from Floyd of course).

Virginia Fagg
Read your note on another person's profile. No, I don't know anything about Ms. Fagg, but thought you might like to have the following online search function for your records.

Fair Lawn and Cedar Lawn Cemetery research under Our Services, then Genealogy Research topic.

http://thefairviewgroup.org/fair-view-cemetery-roanoke-va/

There is a customer service person to contact in the 'contact us' section who has an email address. A quick look, there is a Pvt. John Fagg in Fair View. No need to contact me; I'm not related nor researching this name. Good Luck!

Dora & Bert Jones
My apologies. You are correct. They both have headstones. I was thinking of Stella Dendy Ragsdale, Dora's sister. Stella doesn't have a headstone and when I saw Dora's headstone on a member page, I just got the names switched in my mind.
But, if possible, could you link Dora Mabel Dendy Jones Memorial # 37780885 to her parents. William Milton Dendy Memorial 28082085 and Cassie Ann Ellen Parmer Dendy Memorial #37780912?
Thanks, I appreciate it.

I have transferred the Smiths you requested to you. Next time please use the edit button & suggestion link on the memorial page. It's easier for everyone.
