Bio and Links
Bio Photo I was born in Anchorage, Territory of Alaska, the daughter of Alaska pioneers Herman Joseph "Joe" (1923-2013) and Jane Robinson Schilmoeller (1916-2009).

I graduated from the University of Alaska, Anchorage with a bachelors of Science in Nursing and retired from the state of Alaska in Oct 2013 (Yay!). I'm a member of the NRA, Daughters of the American Revolution, and the Pioneers of Alaska.

As member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, I believe people, families, and love are eternal. I began doing genealogy in my early 20s, (even before computers made it easy :), and have traced one of my lines to the 1500s and a few of them to the early 1600s in America.

Doing genealogy over the years has given me a deep and abiding love for my deceased ancestors. I believe in using genealogy to reunite families in life and in death, and to help others to learn the rich heritage of their ancestry.

The work I do as a volunteer for Find a Grave is another aspect of my continued love for the dead. Every person we memorialize on Find a Grave laughed, cried, lived, loved and was special in their own right. We may not know all the details of their trek through this life, but as a volunteer, I create the canvas to populate the memorial with their story as it is discovered. Therefore, their memorial should be looked at as a work in progress. It is my sincere desire to create a memorial for your family member that honors them. Please feel free to suggest additions to their memorial.

If you discover duplications or errors please use the Edit button to suggest a correction. Please be detailed in your edit suggestion, including FAG #, name, dates of birth and death. Since the work is voluntary, please be patient and I'll address it as soon as possible.

All grave marker photos I take are copy written material for non-profit use. You may use any grave marker photo for your family history use, as long as credit is cited. Photos of persons (other than their obituary photos) are personal property; you must request permission to download and use the photo. If I grant permission, it is for non-commercial, non-profit use, personal use. Additionally, it is on a photo by photo basis, and credit must be cited. I have not granted any "umbrella" permissions.

I am happy to take photo requests for the Anchorage and Matanuska-Susitna area, but please keep in mind that in Alaska, photos are best taken between mid-May and early-October.
