Jane Paxton Henderson
AM Coppage published genealogical articles that appeared in the local Lexington, VA paper the News-Gazette that Dr. Diehl wrote. I found his book in a library possibly at the Washington & Lee Special Collections Leyburn Library in Lexington, VA. LDS may have it also. Good luck.

Wm. Henderson
Hi Theresa. I went back to the cemetery and looked at Williams stone again. He and R. W. Henderson are the only 2 on there. I believe they were buried near some Letts, but that may not mean anything. Not too sure how R.W. and William are connected thouh.

Jane Paxton Henderson

I have no idea about Jane or Nathaniel. It looks like they moved to "Cooper Co.," MO so I'd start there and follow the censuses, check land and church records in any MO counties you locate him in. Often they went with neighbors and kin.

Check out Wm McClung Paxton's 1903 book The Paxtons, We Are One, MO. Plus Dr. Geo W. Diehl's Rockbridge County Notebook about articles he published in the local paper, the News Gazette, Lexington, by A Maxim Coppage III.

Good luck,

RE: William Henderson
A memorial transfer is when the person that made the memorial gives it to the persons family member to care for. You can send anyone any corrections, add your own photos to memorials without having management of the memorials. And you can make your own virtual cemetery. The FAQ's explain better than I can lol. You can find the Henderson's I have came across in Crown Hill Cemetery in Sedalia, Pettis Co., MO and made memorials for by typing Henderson in the search contributors records box on my profile page. And from there, you can see how many were in that cemetery, in the town, in the county, state, and all of findagrave. There are quite a few in Crown Hill. You can use any headstone photos that I have posted however you like. Next time I'm out there, I'll see if I can find William again..

William Henderson
Hi Theresa. I'm not related to the Henderson's. Are you thinking about becoming an active member of findagrave? If so, I'd be happy to transfer.. I don't know anything about these Henderson's. I do know that when I photographed the headstone for William, R. W. Henderson was on the same stone, other side. But I cant remember if anyone else is on there. If you like, next time I go to the cemetery I will look and see who is around.
