Bio Photo I'm a stay at home wife and mom of 3. Our youngest son passed away in August 2013 and discovering this website has been a life saver of sorts. My new hobby, along with working on my family tree. It keeps my mind busy. If I can help with anything, let me know and I will do my best.

Thomas Newton Boyd
Lori: when you get a chance or if you haven't yet. There is pretty good information if you follow the parent information for Thomas Hart Benton Boyd. Searchers of the past has your Hall Peavy Boyd ancestry daughter of Jack Hall. Records per affidavits no death record for him, sworn statements are all. Just letting you know follows all I had too. William Boyd Stone
Lori:
I contacted the current cemetery adm and found out that William Boyd was buried in Cedar Grove Cem in 1947 instead of 1974. Unfortunately there was no stone ever placed. Tom

I have not been able to locate the stone you requested. Do you know what part of the cemetery the stone is in. Tom Ramey

RE: THOMAS NEWTON BOYD
Lori, I emailed you earlier today on private email. Do not know where it went. I lose stuff on this computer all the time. It is a newer one with windows 8; I need my engineer brother in law to help me. All it is doing in Colorado is snowing, I miss Texas, or California or anywhere it is warm. The elevation is not good for asthma either. Anyway, much luck and anytime or anyway I am able to help with any questions etc., don't hesitate to ask.

RE: THOMAS NEWTON BOYD
Lori: Hope you don't mind that I added you as a friend, thought when you pushed the button that it would send you a notice. I am not real familiar with this website yet. I do not believe your William Henry Boyd has a headstone. Do you know if the person that was the informant on his death certificate whether a relative? All I can come up with as of yesterday that it may have been a child of Annie Boyd Morris one of Thomas N. & Ida Peavy's children. Maybe your Mom & I can figure something out or it may take an army of people to figure out our Boyd line. I kinda think that Thomas B. was married to more than one woman named Margaret; and that perhaps at least two of their 6 children may be by the first Margaret. Thomas Newton did at the home of a J.C. Morris. Ella Rose the eldest child died in 1966 at Parkland Hospital in Dallas 3rd degree burns over 80 percent of her body, makes me sad when I find thing like that or that some one was murdered, and I have found one like that, not a Boyd. But one of my Mom's uncles was said to have been beaten to death. Uncle Will drown in 1953, did not find him for about a month. It is confusing. I just cannot get out to do photos, I do not drive very often, with cataracts the tint on truck windows bothers me. I have some photos I took in 2011 in Wood County, Texas the one and only time I have been there. Never found the cemetery I was looking for Smith Family Property, a Mrs. Boyd buried there, and two of Susan's sister Julia Jared's children. I want to get back over to Texas someday, my husband has one brother there in Waco.
