Bio Photo Death is nothing at all. It does not count. I have only slipped away into the next room. Nothing has happened.

Everything remains exactly as it was. I am I, and you are you, and the old life that we lived so fondly together is untouched, unchanged. Whatever we were to each other, that we are still.

Call me by the old familiar name. Speak of me in the easy way which you always used. Put no difference into your tone. Wear no forced air of solemnity or sorrow.

Laugh as we always laughed at the little jokes that we enjoyed together. Play, smile, think of me, pray for me. Let my name be ever the household word that it always was. Let it be spoken without an effort, without the ghost of a shadow upon it.

Life means all that it ever meant. It is the same as it ever was. There is absolute and unbroken continuity. What is this death but a negligible accident?

Why should I be out of mind because I am out of sight? I am but waiting for you, for an interval, somewhere very near, just round the corner.

All is well. Nothing is hurt; nothing is lost. One brief moment and all will be as it was before. How we shall laugh at the trouble of parting when we meet again!

Hi Deb,

Appears you and I share a 4X great grandfather and of course his wife would be our 4X great grandmother. You probably already know that we are related to Trisha Yearwood through her mother Gwen Paulk Yearwood.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.

Cora Buckles Paul
Would you have any idea why Cora would be buried under her first husbands name and not her second husband. I have her death certificate and it is under her second husbands name. I am having doubts that this is the Cora Buckles who married a Paul and a VanMeter. Thank you in advance for any information you can provide. Ckeisling

I have transferred these memorials to you as requested. Would you happen to have any information on the burial site of his second wife Lauretta Jane Shoop (his second wife)? She was my Great-Grandfather's sister. I have done a lot of research on the Shoop family, but have not been able to find a grave location for her. I would appreciate any information that you could provide.

Bill DeWeese Brookston
Sorry, I just got to the correction you sent back in Feb. Though I never meet Bill, or at least I don't recall every having meet him as I was rather young when he died. Bill was my Dad's best friend and when he died, my Dad brought Bill's body back for burial.

I only meet his sister a time or two several years ago. My parents saw her more often. The reason for the delay was due to the sudden death of my Dad in March. I just didn't have it in me to work on corrections until recently.

If you have any photos of Bill you would be willing to post, I would really appreciate it. I'll be in Indiana in a few weeks for my Dad's burial.

Thanks again for his parents info.

RE: Van Young
I think the find-a-grave stuff must have picked it up, I haven't been on for a few weeks. Something else I see there, I had no idea Melvina was Jacob Young's daughter.

You're very welcome! I think we never know how much we use our thumbs until we can't. I have been trying to substitute my index finger for my thumb and that is not working out so well! Have a good day!

Hi Deb,

I have transferred him over to you. We are doing okay here, I fell down and dislocated my thumb, that is no fun, I can tell you that! The doctor had to manipulate it back into the joint and it will be several months before I know if there is any permanent damage. I am such a klutz! I hope everything is okay with you and your family. Let me know any time you need transfers, take care...
