Bio and Links
Bio Photo I have been actively researching the Holder lines in America the last 20 years. I do a lot of research in the Eastern Tennessee, North Carolina, and Virginia. I gather information, and help a lot of Holder researchers in all the Holder lines.

My huge data base contains information for some on on all the DNA Holder lines

Silas Mercer West
Thank you so much!!! - for pointing out the dates of the Silas Mercer West that I attached as parent to Elias Preston West.

It is the wrong Silas Mercer West (never caught on since Silas Mercer West doesn't seem that common of a name).
The correct Silas Mercer West dates are 1817-1893
and is buried in Danford Cemetery in Springfield Missouri.

So I am removing the wrong one as parent to Elias.

thanks again

RE: John Wesley Fraker
Ok. I just needed a double check on it. I have photographed the entire Milburnton Cemetery, so knew of the Fraker's there. Milburnton was named after a family by the name of Milburn. I didn't grow up here so I don't know the story of the name. It is just an area now called Milburnton. I don't know if there was ever an actual town or not. If there was it was just a store or two.

I will go ahead and do the edits. Thanks!

John Wesley Fraker
I see that John Fraker's father is buried in Milburnton Cemetery, so I am more hesitant to make edits on the John Fraker in the Old Stone Dam Cemetery (which is no where hear Milburnton).

John Fraker
Just want to be sure I am making the edits on the right marker in the right cemetery for John Fraker. You have the edits on the John Fraker in the Old Stone Dam Cemetery (of which this is the only stone I have found there so far). You state he died in Milburnton, so I want to be sure it is not the John P Fraker that is buried in Milburnton. See this link:

Let me know. I am going to hold the edit until I hear from you. Thanks!

Apsilla Coody Holder

I am just now seeing the email with the suggestion for Apsilla's memorial. I no longer manage the memorial.

RE: James Holder Birth Date
I totally agree with your thinking. Even dates on grave markers are incorrect, although not quite that often.

Good luck in your research.
