RE: Pvt. Frank Leslie Jones
Thanks very much Kirk! No problem on the wait. When I come to Keokuk in the summer I plan on trying to find them in person since I now know their plots and have a map of Oakland. About three summers ago I tried and tried to find these graves with no luck but was walking three different areas of Oakland. If the markers are low no wonder I missed them.

Thanks again,
Heather

RE: Pvt. Frank Leslie Jones
Please feel free to wait until the snow melts. I did want to also mention that he may be buried near his mother if see her grave marker. Her name was Enid Inez Kay. She is probably buried under the last name Kay as that was the name of the last husband she was married to. She was divorced from Frank Leslie's father. One of Frank's brothers is also buried in that block and may be near him, his name is Robert Jones. Please don't feel you have to do out in extreme temps or snow. I am happy to wait until spring. :)

Thanks,
Heather

Photographing Oakhill Cemetery
Take your digital camera to one of the Blocks (areas) of the cemetery and start taking pictures (full stone and one orientation if useful). Download images to a compute file. Open FIND A GRAVE site for Oakland Cemetery. Enlarge each image and correspondingly find the grave if listed already then "Add a photo" button will ask you to browse to the file for uploading. If you don't find a Find A Grave memorial then you will need to add a new one memorial first then upload the photo. So many photos are needed, you won't duplicate - some have been concentrating in the Catholic sections already so pick another area. I can send you an electronic chart if you like. Thomas
