Bio and Links
Bio Photo I just found this page and found my great grandfather's brother's grave. We never knew where he and his first wife were buried. I have been working on my father's history for over 40 years. I am especially hunting for the graves of the 16 children and grandchildren of my great-great-great grandparents. Six of the 16 children served in the Union Army during the Civil War (1860-1865) This site is great.

Robert Wiles was in Dunkirk, Hardin County, Ohio and is buried at the Dunkirk Cemetery. I've been there many times. Robert was also married a 2nd time, though I don't believe that union bore any children. I have found much information on his children, though mostly his daughter, Eunice, who was my direct ancestor - married to Albert Keefer. They all seemed to have moved to Dunkirk from New York at the same time.
I don't, however, see anything on your profile to contact you directly.
Thanks for your info, though!

I would be happy to post it. You can email it to me at -- don't worry about sending to the yahoo email address, I don't store any contact info or emails in this account. Once I receive it the email will be moved out of there.

RE: Allen family in Steuben Co., IN
The name Alberta came from someone compiling the Tippet family tree.

The information in the memorials come from a number of sources, including the 1885 and 1920 Histories, and the Steuben County web page, as well as other researchers.

I suspect that Ellen was buried at Dygert Cemetery because there are a number of graves that have missing or damaged headstones.

Please let me know which of the daughters married names you are looking for confirmation on. I don't have Bell connected to the family with her 3rd husband, but the other married names are correct.
