RE: Aquilla Compton
Hi Ashley,
Levi Compton was my 3x great grandfather and he is the son of Aquilla Compton. Levi was born, however, on March 10, 1787 in Hillsborough, NC and died in 1853. I am related to him through my Wallace family line--long time residents of Moore Co, in NC.

I see Gladys Marie - 115724459 .. Things seem to have gotten confused along the way. Glad you are addressing the correcting.

Best Regards,
Connie

Ashley, I remember seeing this memorial but I don't remember that I requested any updating on it. I usually don't do anything on 'unknown' burials unless I know the facts personally.

Thank you for following up with the manager of the memorial. Have you found a memorial for Marie that is correct?

Again, thank you for letting me know.

Connie

Marie Etta Pratt Markley -151911394
Since there was confusion on Arville Pratt's linking, would you review Marie's memorial, please. Perhaps she is incorrectly linked as well?

Thank you.

Jane Williamson Sherrill
Thank you SO much for taking the photos of my 3x great grandmother's gravestone! Since her husband, Finess Ewing Sherrill, died 40 years before she did, his stone very well may not be as tall/elaborate, and from the looks of the surrounding area, it would appear that the cemetery needs a good cleaning! His stone may just be a flat small one, and the leaves and undergrowth probably has hidden it. If I could travel from Colorado to Arkansas, and was physically able, you would find me there cleaning out all the leaves, dead limbs, and everything else that has no doubt hidden graves!
Again, thank you so much!

David Walker
Ashley,
Is there any chance you could get a better picture of David Walker's tombstone. I think he may be related to David Walker buried at Bluff City. Tombstone of your David 126419719 looks like it might be David Lewis Walker.....but the tombstone has moss growing on it that blurs the name and dates. Any help would be appreciated.

Charles

Hi Ashley,
I greatly appreciate you taking the time to get this photo of my great grandfather's younger brother's grave marker. My great grandfather became guardian of Henry and 2 other younger siblings when their mother died. Having a photo of this marker is very nice.
Sincerely,
Don Sharp
Carrollton, Georgia
