RE: Mattie Thompson
Your welcome. Just thought I would introduce myself. I'm Edie Burke, My husband's great grandmother was Mary Springer McMahan (#116361831), daughter of Dennis Springer and Sara Brian, step-sister of Clarence Dennis Springer, which I believe is your relation?

I posted a picture of Dennis when he was Sheriff of Barton County (#15534749). Nice to meet you. Bill and Edie Burke

RE: Picture
Well, that must make us cousins! My dad was about 16 in this picture. Since he was born in 1927 that would make the picture having been taken sometime around 1943. You can use the picture for your own if you wish. My dad ran off and joined the Navy at 17, so it had to be taken before 1944. He didn't want to miss going to war. His dad, Clarence Springer Hemenway, served in the first World War and you can see him in his uniform with the picture of him and Ethel together when he was married. Emma Cornelia Hemminway Springer was the sister of my great grandfather, William Newton Hemenway who is in this picture. I believe they recorded the spelling of her maiden name incorrectly. She married Clarence Dennis Springer (1871 - 1970) and their male child was named Clarence Hemenway Springer (1911 - 1955). So, maybe there are double cousins somewhere along the line in this. I'm not sure. Are you?

RE: Picture
At the top is my father, Robert W. Hemenway, and below him on the left is his father, Clarence Springer Hemenway, and on the right is William Newton Hemenway, father of Clarence. On the bottom, left to right are Jeanne Hemenway, my father's sister, (still living). Next is my great-grandmother, Mabel Springer Hemenway. On the right is my grandmother, Ethel Marion Green Hemenway, the wife of Clarence S Hemenway. Another picture of Ethel and Clarence Hemenway can be found on #33504022. I hope this helps you. Glad to be of assistance.

Jeanette Metcalf / Jeanette McBurney memorials
The easiest way to make this happen is to have BeaconofLight move their memorial to White Chapel Cemetery. I will move my photo to their memorial and then delete mine.

A. Seat
Hi , I seen your request for A. Seat in the Epley cemetery . I looked through my cemetery book found ( A. Seat Father with no dates ) in the Jarrett Cemetery, which is not to far from the Epley cemetery.
I'll try to go to the Jarrett cemetery this weekend and get some pics for you.
A. Seat is the only Seat in my book.
Hope this helps . Eric
