Thank you for your comments and inquiry. I have recorded and documented all marked graves in the older part of The Stand where William Nicks, Sr. is buried. His wife Sarah "Sally" does not have a marked grave there. She could be buried there but I have not found any documented sources stating such. I checked the cemetery books for Hickman County and cannot find her listed in any cemetery. The area where William is buried does not have many remaining stones. I do have that they married on Dec. 31, 1810. I have her born abt. 1791 in my information. I regret I do not have any information that will be helpful to you.

Hi... I have no problem going back but it might be a while. I live in Livermore which is about 3 hours away. I have other records to go through at the court house so next time I go, I'll stop there :)

Your right about a record showing that, but it gives no details. Not sure who to contact unless it might be the cemetery or contact this number and they might know who has the records for the cemetery. It a funeral home in Trumbull county that's been helpful to me in the past and will probably give you the name of the sexton for the cemetery.

I've checked to see if there are any other Batterson's in this cemetery and I didn't find any. I also checked to see if there were anybody with the first name of Pearl and that didn't return any hits. That cemetery is about ten miles away and I will try to get over there and see if she is buried there.
