I sent an explanation of sorts from her memorial.
Not really sure why, but best guess would be that W. W. Rister was buried there first and when they did the tombstone for him they added her name and birthdate, planning to go back and put a death date on when she died.
The same thing happened with my Uncle Schelllie. Both him and my Aunt Valetta's names were inscribed on his tombstone. But when Aunt Valetta actually died her daughter had her buried in Indiana. So Aunt Valetta has two tombstones one in Illinois without a death date and one in Indiana.
