RE: Eva Graham
Hi - You're surely welcome for any small effort I made. I think you'll have more luck if you concentrate your search in the Orange County area of California. I don't know where you live, but that's where I would focus because I got the distinct impression that Eva lived with or near her daughter in Lakewood. I will see what else I can find if you don't mind me making a stab at it.

Sincerely,
Susan

Eva D. Cross Graham
Being that Eva died in Los Angeles County, CA and there was no plots available next to her husband, she could very well be buried in Los Angeles County. Also during the time 1924 when Andrew died and when Eva died in 1969 the area where Andrew was buried was not maintained. It wasn't until 2013 that Union Cemetery was granted permission by Kern County to take over the area. Since then the area now has grass and is watered regularly. Damage markers have been restored when possible. What information on those buried in the section was given to Union.
Unions has mapped the section and is in the process of adding their names to Union's records.
Did Eva have any family living in Los Angeles County??? Children, grandchildren, aunts or uncles, brother or sisters or parents. She could be buried in the cemetery they are.
Remember just because Eva is not listed on Find A Grave at a cemetery in Los Angeles County doesn't mean she is not buried there. Find A Grave volunteers have located her yet.
When you find out exactly where she died, it will narrow your search for cemeteries. The easiest way is to send for her death certificate there is a fee). It should have the burial place as well as next of kin.

I am a volunteer with Find A Grave and today 10/3
I could find no record of Eva being buried at Union Cemetery. Andrew is in 1548-2 (which I added to his memorial page.) #4 is occupied by Blalock and #6 by Herbst. There are no other Grahams in block 1458.

You're very welcome. I was planning on going to the Winton Cemetery anyway to look for other tombstones.

RE: Re: Photo request for Lucy Daniels (1844)
You're welcome. Speaking of cemetery records, maybe you know this already, but there is also this useful link to the plot records for Section I where you can see who else is recorded as being buried in Lot 91 along with Lucy Daniels: http://crpc.nyrgs.org/show.php?q=7

Re: Photo request for Lucy Daniels (1844)
Thanks for resubmitting this with location info. I had actually already checked it out a month or so ago. What I found there was just an empty plot with no sign of her marker; however, the ground was frozen over and there was one spot that I was curious about...i.e., it seemed like it could possibly be a marker flush with the ground with some dirt over it (or maybe just rocky or hard ground).

Since her marker was found in the survey of markers conducted in the 1980s (http://mcnygenealogy.com/cem/mthope-sec-i.htm), I wasn't ready to give up hope yet and did want to go back and check it out once the ground is soft.

Updated memorial as requested. One minor typo (he died 1815, not 1715) was adjusted. Thanks!
