Bio and Links
Family historian and genealogical researcher since 1976, ten generations of my family in the Adirondack Mts of northern NYS (in Hamilton / Warren counties region), with ancestry in early Vermont, Connecticut & Massachusetts back to 1600s...

... and French-Canadian lineage in Quebec and Acadia back to France 1600s, along with Can Fr connections to New England states (primarily Vermont & Massachusetts, but also New Hampshire and Maine); to Louisiana (1755 deportees); and to Michigan.

Also, like most Eastern families, we have those who 'went West.' I'm in contact with cousins in many areas, including: Dakota Territories, Michigan, Iowa, Texas, California, Washington and Oregon.

If you wish to use any photos which I have posted, PLEASE DO. I have been 'cemetery hopping' for nearly forty years and I am currently posting photos which I took twenty years ago... some of those stones have since fallen, broken, disappeared... or even been replaced (glad I got pics when I did). They are for EVERYONE to use. You may credit me if you wish.

When I see uncommon names I search to see if any relatives may be on Find A Grave. And your husband's last name is so interesting, sounds like there's a story behind it. How cool!

Thank you for the corrections and information. My photos could have used a better sun angle to read them easier.

I went ahead and linked, then transferred, your great great aunt to you because you know a lot more about her than I do! Great job finding her husband in North Carolina. I see the AKA for Mount Hermon Cemetery hasn't been posted yet, but I'm not surprised because it usually takes a while, so be patient and it will appear. :-) Alice

RE: re: John Thibodeau
No, I could not find a stone for John. There should have been a message along with James photo that this was all that I could find in Hollen cemetery. I will remove this photo for you.
