Since I started researching my own family tree in 2007, I have become addicted. I love going through cemeteries, especially old cemeteries, looking for my ancestors. I'll happily go find yours as well!! Let me know how I can help! |
Surnames in my ancestries are: Bass(e), Burton, Faust, Finch, Frederick (Fredrich, Fredrick, Friedrich), Pittman, Pruitt, Wolfe, and other names which escape my memory at this moment!
Any photos I have taken for memorials are welcome to be shared or used for your own personal use. The contributions I make here are solely to help and I try to do them in the best detail possible. Some will appreciate it, others won't. And that's okay. I'm still going to go Cemetery hunting, I'm still going to contribute, and I will still do whatever I can to help as many as possible.
My email is on here for anyone who has any need to contact me regarding my contributions, specifics, or if I can help them with their own research in this area! Happy Hunting!

Julie, many, many thanks for uploading the pix! I hope it was not difficult for you to find the graves.
|bill hurd||Headstone Columbus Hurd|
thank you very much for posting the headstone pix of my Great Uncle Columbus Hurd (FG 135649837) and his wife Julia (FG 135630006).
The FG web site has been a great help for genealogists and it is through the efforts of posters like you that researchers have been able to document family data.
When I first started doing the genealogy of my ancestors I would drive hundreds of miles to a cemetery just to (maybe) find a picture of a headstone. Now I can locate or post the information and then request a volunteer post the picture.
You are truly appreciated

Thank you for taking the time out of your schedule to visit the cemetery and take the photos of the headstones for this online memorial. They look great. Your time and effort is greatly appreciated!

Thank you so very much your time and effort to take the photo of my 2nd cousin. You are a blessing to those of us far away to do it our selves. I have been looking for his mother who was married many times. Her name was Mary Louise Taylor Crowe Dye Wilkerson Walker? I am not sure which husband she married after my cousin Joel Thomas Crow II but she died in 1982 in Elk City, Beckham, OK and I was told she was buried in the Fairlawn Cemetery, in Elk City, Beckham, Oklahoma. Any help will be wonderful. I live in Idaho so not an easy way for me to do it myself.
God's rich blessingd
