I have been the beneficiary of much genealogical work done by others... It is wonderful to have the chance to give back!

RE: Joseph and Phebe Guthrie
There are 2 sets of Alexander and Elizabeth Guthries. Alexander Guthrie born about 1795 and died about 1853 married to Elizabeth Blackburn born about 1800 and die about 1872. This set is the parents of Joseph buried in Ebenezer. The White Clay bunch includes the other set Alexander 1787-1860 and Elizabeth Springer 1789-1835. This Alexander had 3 wives - Anna Ocheltree, Elizabeth Springer and Hanna Durnall. These Guthries are probably all related but I haven't been able to find documentation yet.

Anna Ocheltree and Elizabeth Springer are my Maxwell and Springer cousins respectively.

You probably found the grave of Alexander abt 1795 - abt 1853. I'd like to have a pix of his grave marker when you get a chance. I set up a memorial at

thank you
