Bio and Links
Bio Photo Originally from Grant County, Kentucky, I completed military service & settled near Augusta, Georgia. I am married and work full time. I enjoy getting out when time permits to take photos and I always learn a thing or two it seems from the process.

The hope I have is to assist others who wish to piece together the past. I especially enjoy researching old family grave sites that may be off the main road (so to speak). In many instances this feels like stepping back in time to me.

Stewart Cemetery
Are you related to the Stewart family? I found my great great grandfather's grave in a field on Stewart Ridge Road. His is the only stone that can be read. His name was Elisha Stewart. The Stewart home place was across the road. House is gone. Carol

Jerry, I am away from home right now, but will be returning home in a few days. I will check my info and get back to you. Is the cemetery you are interested in the Stewart that is listed on FindaGrave? I see that it has no gps or photos.

RE: Stewart Family Cemetery
Hi, I don't know specifically where this is, but one site shows it in the Poplar Grove area, on Bonds Branch Rd, Hope this helps.
I have not found your aunt Sylvia's husband in my direct line of Cliftons. Did find out something I was not aware of, my Aunt Thelma, was a sister to Vernon & Lewis. Another case of a Clifton marrying a Clifton!. My cousin, Betty Gray, was quite close to Lewis & Vernon (her uncles). Betty lives in Owenton and would probably have known your Aunt quite well. Leave me a message when you come to KY and maybe we can arrange a meeting. Hope it warms enough soon to go graveing. Faye
